First off, I would like to say that I'm not a gold-digging, high maintenance bitch. I'm also not saying that is the absolute ONLY bridal set that my future husband has to buy me for me or else I'm going to return the rings. I just tend to eye the more expensive things in life. I've always had semi-extravagent tastes with certain items. I found my dream bridal set when we were shopping at Kays the other day. It was a 2 carat T.W. Princess Cut diamond engagement ring and wedding band. They were ALL princess cut diamonds and it just looked so extremely elegant and GORGEOUS. I couldn't take my eye off of it. The thing is that it's $3,500. My future fiance said he would easily pay that much for me since I loved it so much but I feel kind of bad? I also want to add in that I plan to keep this set for at LEAST 15 years. I don't plan on upgrading in the future. My fiance has the money... We are college students. What do you think?
